Tales

After a long day of activity at the Chalome, 8 year old Landon, 10 year old Colton and dad set up on an oak canyon for the evening hunt. They had anticipated that pigs would come up out of the canyon into the fields. Much to everyone's surprise this hog somehow managed to get into the barley from a different area and suddenly appeared behind them. After a quick adjustment to the plan and a short stalk, Landon and Colton were a big part of dragging this hog back to a road.  Dad was happy to have a couple of extra hands for the drag and the boys definitely earned their keep on this trip. They are eagerly looking forward to the next hog hunt at the Chalome.
